This is a list of all of the books that I have either already read or want to read. As you'll see, I have a pretty wide taste in literature - classics, romance, YA fiction... I like it all! Once I finish reading a book, I will post the link where you can read the review I write about it! If you think I should add any books to this list, please let me know in the comments! 😊

Feeling Thankful

I have a lot to be thankful for. These last couple of weeks have been a little rough for me. Between being overwhelmed at work and school and trying to be a good daughter, sister, and friend, I kind of lost my sanity for a minute. I over worked myself to the point where I got sick last weekend and I'm still trying to fight off the last of whatever bug I managed to catch. This time of year is usually pretty stressful, but I just feel like it's worse this year. Coping with the sale of my childhood home has been harder than I thought; it's brought up a lot of residual grief for my dad. I've been missing him more than usual lately. I feel like I am losing the balance I had between work, school, family and friends; work and school have kind of taken over and I haven't had much time for myself. I haven't read part of my new book in weeks. I haven't been able to sit down and watch more than 1 episode of something on Netflix of Hulu without feeling guilty for not...

So I Jumped On The Bandwagon...

...and I have no shame whatsoever. I finally gave in to all the hype and watched "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" on Netflix and TBH, it was SO worth it!! I usually don't give in to the hype on popular shows/movies on Netflix for various reasons, but after rave reviews from friends and family, and being unable to escape the hype on social media (looking at you Buzzfeed... every other article I scrolled past in the last week has been about/related to TATBILB), I caved and watched it. And I have no ragrets. Seriously, not a single one.  For those who have not watched this gem of a film, I'll give you a brief description without spoilers, because I am a decent human being like that. Personally, I thought it was the ultimate modern day mashup of "Can't Buy Me Love", "10 Things I Hate About You", "Sixteen Candles", and a couple of other John Hughes and classic rom-coms. This girl Lara Jean has written very open, honest, and h...

Busy, Busy, Busy

Whew! It has been a CRAZY past couple of weeks, which is why I haven't written in so long. Work has definitely picked up in the last 2 weeks with every fall season sport arriving on campus and beginning their preseason camps. Luckily, tennis was one of the last teams to show up, but in the time it took for their arrival day to come, I was slammed with admin projects and asked to cover a bunch of other sports last minute. While I was grateful for the opportunity to be busy, I can't help but notice how exhausted I was!  I was asked to cover football practice twice for one of my bosses, which was actually a lot more fun and rewarding than I ever expected. I worked together with one of my other GAs who has worked football for the last year and it was really nice to work with him and lean on him for support at the times when I was clueless (i.e. when I had no clue how to supervise both of my position groups on the field when they were SO spread out!). The players, to my surpr...
